Best thing for the money, glad I did it.

My first google phone. Still under the wow factor.
If you're looking for a no-frills little multimedia assistant rather than a mobile gaming console, you won't find anything better for the money. Although it is extremely difficult to get this device in the CIS at a human price, it is worth it.
I picked up a limited edition copy of Barely Blue instead of the tedious black and now I'm happy.

Pros

Performance. Better software optimization. Not a single lag or glitch for a month and a half of operation. At the same time, software ates come regularly. Ascetic, but not faceless design. The orange button on a Barely Blue background is simply one love. Amazingly pleasant body materials. And this is not metal, but some kind of dense soft-touch plastic. Size is just what the doctor ordered. After the huge flagship heavy shovels, this pixel simply does not want to let go. 143 grams, 5.81 inches screen is exactly what will fit in any average hand The screen is a high-quality OLED that does not distort colors. You quickly get used to the eye of the front camera on the left, and it does not irritate. The sound is aptx HD in place, the second bullets from OnePlus got used to this pixel just with a bang. And . adored, adored - there is a standard jack for wired headphones! Battery - I don't know why there are a lot of complaints about poor autonomy; my pixel lives for more than a day quite calmly (Deezer, Telegram, surfing, a few minutes of calls, simple casual toys, see photo). Maybe because I'm on Wi-Fi 95% of the time, not 4G. And my location is usually turned off. By the way, the device is perfectly charged through its native Type-C to Type-C cord even from a laptop. Accessories - the toad was choking, but I still took the textile branded original case. And he did not regret the result - any expensive, but third-party covers fade against its background. Camera - I'm not a photography enthusiast, but I like the pictures from this pixel much more than with the OnePlus 6t. Especially delighted are the parents who view the photos I sent on TV. Live Caption function - a smartphone can automatically recognize speech (so far only English) in any application and display it as subtitles on the screen. A very useful killer feature for those who listen to podcasts and news in English.

Cons

For myself, I did not find any critical shortcomings. Yes, there is no moisture protection, but I don’t have the habit of taking my smartphone to the bath. Yes, there is no wireless charging, but I would hardly use it even if it was present. Yes, the physical fingerprint scanner on the back cover today seems to be an anachronism, but in fact it is much faster, more practical and more reliable than the sub-screen one. Yes, the screen refresh rate is 60 Hz, not at least 90, but for me personally this is an overkill that would eat up an already small battery. Yes, 128 GB is not enough in the current realities, but there is a preferential Google One subscription for Pixel owners, which can be used for free for the first three months, and later for mere pennies. The only drawbacks are the price, which breaks outbids in the CIS for this device and my two-week dances with a tambourine when buying it from the Google Store. Good Corporation in their store diligently refused to sell me, despite the American delivery address. I had to find an old friend in Delaware and buy a device through him.
