I have the interior removed from my Dodge Dakota pickup. While it's out, I took the opportunity to install some sound deadener. The truck has a lot of highway drone and I was hoping to decrease that some. This Siless sound deadener is good stuff. Its easy to cut with a razor knife, it adheres well and the foil backing is durable enough to be pressed into compound surfaces.In that truck, 36 square feet was enough to do the entire floor, the ceiling, the firewall and the inside of the cab corners. After the interior was back in, a quick test drive revealed that the interior was noticeably quieter. Quiet enough, so, that I was able to listen to the radio at three notches less volume (i.e, I usually listen on 14 and now on 11). I know that doesn't mean much but it does demonstrate a reduction in background noise.Be sure to apply the sound deadener when its fairly warm outside. I found that at temperatures above about 65F, it adhered really well and was plenty flexible to use. You won't be disappointed.
