This thing is great for quick alignment for drilling, probing, center finding and so on. I used it again yesterday when I had to re-drill the timing chain cover and tap larger threads. For more accuracy I use an edge/center finder on a cross slide table. But for quick, normal everyday stuff this can't be beat (clamps and drill).
