Great Option for a Rustic Look
I used this wash to paint some wooden baskets for my brother's wedding reception and liked it so much I ordered more to refinish a wooden tray for my home. I smoothed it on the wood with a rag. Just two layers, and it came out great! It is quick-drying, as well -- none of the tacky feeling you get with regular paint. Would be interested in trying out the other colors!
- Love the color over white chalk paint. plus charcoal color wax light coating. Looks like driftwood.
- May not adhere well - FolkArt Pickling Wash may not adhere well to certain surfaces, which can lead to chipping, peeling, or flaking, especially in high-traffic areas
