Review on NovelBee 11518860 Manifold Avalanche Silverado by Kevin Hawkins

I was reluctant to purchase this as it is clearly the wrong brand and I had no reviews. I needed three clamps on my Sub 05 to fix a ticking exhaust leak. I noticed this after replacing the rear main oil seal and thought the mechanic might have messed something up. Looking around I noticed that 3 bolts on the manifold were cut off. This was about $20 cheaper than the Dorman, but I ordered two other Dormans as this manufacturer only stocks 917-107s. The quality of both manufacturers is excellent. The material, the workmanship, everything seemed almost the same. One downside I didn't have with the Dorman was that the threads on the bolt that goes to the header weren't cut very cleanly. Nothing that pre-screwing with a screw wouldn't solve. I had to twist a bit harder to get past the exact same spot during installation and in hindsight I probably should have drilled through it as the tightness of the mounting location was annoying. Not bad enough to even deduct a star, and I have a feeling it could be just as easy for one of the Dormans. Feel free to save $20 with this one.
