Review on Dorman 912 001 Hood Release Cable by Michael Ward
It seems to work fine BUT.
Didn't see the mechanic install it but knew he had to remove some parts and find ways to skip it. But this is my truck's design, not a parts problem. seem normal, but maybe it's my truck design again. I have to push the latch back after pulling it up to actually release the hood. Hope it lasts long :)
