Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wow! Should have bought many years ago!

Over fifty years ago, when I was a kid, my parents bought WaterPiks for me and my two brothers. Over the years mine has been lost on the way to school and work and I honestly forgot about it. A few years ago I started having problems with sore/bleeding gums and no matter how many times I brushed my teeth, my mouth always felt like the bottom of a birdcage. Then I remembered my childhood WaterPik. Just in time for one of the Revain sales! I ordered the Aquarius model and used it twice a day for a week. Guess what? No more bleeding gums! And after each use, my mouth feels like it was cleaned by a dental hygienist. Love love love this thing and it's so easy to use! After reading numerous reviews here, I have to say that it makes a slight vibrating noise when in use, but not loud (I have super sensitive hearing and can't stand loud noises). If your device gets moldy, it's because you didn't take 30 seconds to empty the tank and drain the water after each use. Try adding a few ounces of mouthwash to your water tank while you're using it, and β€” just like a coffee maker β€” run some white vinegar through the tank from time to time, followed by two tanks of clean water. This is not higher mathematics. Those who reported it "leaking" from the bottom of the cleaning tip probably just installed it incorrectly. It should snap onto the stick, but if you're not careful and press the "Release" button on the stick instead of the "On" button to get the water to flow, then yes, it will spill out the bottom. Just put it back in and give your therapy llama a rest. Is water flowing everywhere? Don't turn it on until the cleaning tip is in your mouth, then keep your mouth closed like you should. Seriously guys, I used one of these when I was seven and didn't have one. these problems. Buy one. You will love it. I will never be without a WaterPik again!
