Splashing dirty black particles

I may have come across a broken one but it kept spouting black water. I assembled it correctly (no rocket science), dunked it in clean water and drained it as instructed before popping it in my mouth. When I wanted to turn off the test drive and use it, black water squirted out! He did this every few seconds throughout the cycle. I tried several times to let water through but nothing worked. Update - after reading many reviews I think the device was filled with mold! I can't believe they sold…

The performance has changed.

I've been buying ADA watering equipment for about 10 years now. They need to be replaced about every 2-3 years or so. I found the quality of the device and its longevity to drop drastically. I only bought one a year or so ago. Then the engine stopped. I bought a real one in July of this year and it keeps leaking into the tank and from the bottom of the unit onto the counter and down. And it often fluctuates when it's on. Please inform? I would ask for a return and refund but as I wrote I only…

I like it but it's NOT really that different from the Waterpik Ultra I bought a few years ago. It's supposed to be quieter and take up less space, but that's not entirely true. I compared it to the Ultra and found no difference in noise levels between the two! In terms of size, there's really no noticeable difference in terms of the amount of space it occupies. I LOVE the fact that the pause button at the top isn't a button anymore, it's now a slider because the old button became useless after…

Good performance but severe mold problem

I have had this irrigator for a little over 3 years and it has become an important part of my oral hygiene routine. It does an excellent job of removing food debris from between teeth and along the gum line. We recently learned about the dangers of mold and started looking into Waterpik. The growth of mold on the rubber portion of the grip and along its seams was hard to miss. I also found spots of mold in the case assembly. Attempts to remove the mold from the stick with a bleach cloth didn't…

Wow! Should have bought many years ago!

Over fifty years ago, when I was a kid, my parents bought WaterPiks for me and my two brothers. Over the years mine has been lost on the way to school and work and I honestly forgot about it. A few years ago I started having problems with sore/bleeding gums and no matter how many times I brushed my teeth, my mouth always felt like the bottom of a birdcage. Then I remembered my childhood WaterPik. Just in time for one of the Revain sales! I ordered the Aquarius model and used it twice a day for…
