You get what you paid for. Look at the pictures... The glass stopper has a rubber seal.
You get what you paid for. The top of the carafe is covered in rubber, making it difficult to remove and detracting (in my opinion) from the elegance of the glasswork. It can hardly be seen in the photo, but not in the product description.
