UPDATE: On a whim I used a Zeiss cloth to clean the lens. The lens was already transparent, but the cloths must have taken off a bit, because after that the light works well with glue. It cures the adhesive more stably, although not faster than cheap UV light applied to the adhesive. A: I bought it to cure UV glue (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07ZQVH9TR/). The glue kit had its own cheap UV lamp, so I had to compare that lamp to a cheap LED. First test: glue hardens faster with a cheap LED! Second test: I tried to fluoresce a strip on a $50 bill: this time the UV monster gave a brighter (2x) result. or more effectively, this flashlight is no better than the standard UV LED that comes with the adhesive.
