These grinders are large enough to hold comfortably in your hand and sturdy enough to use while your wife cooks. and they look good. The only thing I don't like is that they don't have a lid so the grinder is always open. After you're done using them, you'll have to tap them to get the rest of the ground pepper and salt out of them or you'll end up with a pile of whatever you put on them. Better make sure it doesn't end up with what you eat, or you'll end up with a heap instead.
