This was my first experience of knitting a blanket. I chose this yarn because it was bulky and fairly budget friendly (about $3-4 per skein at craft stores, FYI). The quilt turned out really well! It's warm and quite soft. I cast on 180 stitches and use 4 colored balls per block. As you can see, the ceiling is quite large - our bed is just royal for the size. The only complaint I have is that the yarn is a bit frizzy and feels slightly different for each color. Cream is the softest. The gray is a bit scratchy.
