I had to check closely to see that it was in fact all metal - so poor is the metal quality of the bowens ring, This is two pieces press-fitted together and entirely likely to come apart after a relatively short time. However all that is completely irrelevant since it's THE WRONG SIZE. The flange is almost 1/8" too large to fit into any standard speedring. As such it is completely useless. Silly me - I failed to test it within the return period. I wonder if it will work as a frisbee?
