I have several of these shirts. Navy Vintage Cali Postcard, Navy Vintage Cali Championship, Americana Black/White Flag/Black Collection, Humor Graphic All Man/Black, and Rugged Outdoor Collection Route/Black. All are marked as modern in the lists. Fit is subjective so I try it out. I'm a bit between Large and XL but closer to Large, with an athletic build but not bulky. Based on my experience with 100% cotton Hanes, I bought the XL because they shrink. They all fit just as well after washing on cold and drying on low. Modern cut, not baggy, but not too tight either. Somewhere in between I live in my comfort zone but the shirt fits just the way I like it. The modern cut keeps the sleeves from poking out of the arms, and the bust and waist don't stick together like bulky blocks so you look like you're carrying a directional arrow. It's also not close enough for your buddy to ask why you're wearing your son's shirt. These are good shirts that last a long time and are usually very inexpensive. Hanes cotton shirts will always lose their shape and stretch a little over time, but they last a long time, making them great value. If you really like the print, consider buying a pair and saving one for later as they often run out. I hope this has helped you in your quest to find a decent, inexpensive shirt.
