Review on Akebono EUR946 Ultra Premium Ceramic Brake by Kyle Rock

I bought these pads for their silent claims and low brake dust. Both are very true. Almost no brake dust after a few weeks of use. Also absolutely quiet in my setup. I will say that the initial bite is slightly less than other pads, and the reviews on the network say so. It requires a little more force on the pedal than before. In general very satisfied. Updated November 12, 2010 The original overbite problem I reported is now gone as the pads and discs cracked a bit. For me it took over a month. The car now stops just like standard BMW pads. Very satisfied. There is so little brake dust on these pads, it's amazing. Looking at the rear wheels with standard BMW pads and the front wheels, it looks like I only washed the front wheels and the rear wheels are dirty. I will definitely buy these pads again. They are still silent.
