I bought these shorts specifically for working out at the local gym because of the zippered pockets. While the fit is closer to the slim side, it's the zippers that make these shorts an absolute disappointment. On my second foray into the club, the right pocket popped open while riding the Life Cycle. Of course, I immediately zipped it up, only for the zipper to keep falling apart. So here I am with an unsatisfying pair of shorts that I can't trust to keep my keys and driver's license safe and wish I had never bought them. DON'T SPEND YOUR MONEY ON THESE SHORTS!
