Review on πŸ“ Stanley 33-735 35ft 4in FatMax by Josh Maher

Lower quality new version

I agree with some of the other posts regarding the quality of this newer version of bold max. I'm a concrete carpenter and have been using the 35ft thick Max since it came out. I just recently bought a replacement and found that the band itself has turned into a thin, less curved band that flexes more often as the band is lengthened, especially when trying to hook the band vertically, like on pillars or walls. This and the fact that the band will stretch 11 feet before breaking was the reason I chose the Fatmax. The look of the band remains the same 5* quality but the band itself has become your main band. I hope that the company will notice this and go back to the original version, no improvements have been made in this version. none. In these pictures you can see that the difference in curvature on the band has changed making it weak, when I stretch the band at a slight angle it breaks. within a foot or so, which is consistent with the original version, which stretches much farther before breaking.
