📏 Stanley 33-735 35ft 4in FatMax Review

I had a great 35ft Stanley FatMax and used it for over 10 years. Never had a problem with it. It eventually broke when the tape got stuck in a piece of Unistrut and broke when I pulled it out. I agree with some of the other posts regarding the quality of this newer version of bold max. I'm a concrete carpenter and have been using the 35ft thick Max since it came out. I just recently bought a replacement and found that the band itself has turned into a thin, less curved band that flexes more often as the band is lengthened, especially when trying to hook the band vertically, like on pillars or walls. I've heard so much about Fat Max Roulette that I just had to try it at our house. I bought two 25' tapes and one 40'. They were delivered to me on April 1st 2020 so maybe that explains what happened once I used them. 40" tape was enough for 3 measurements. All 3 were 37 ft-3 inches.
