Review on πŸ”§ Brushless Oscillating Tool Kit by SKIL 2 by Shawn Quick

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I have had good experience with the SKIL brand, this is a good mid range kit for the homeowner.

I've had good luck with SKIL brand tools in terms of good quality and durability and this 12v cordless set of 2 tools (drill and multi-tool) continues that trend. What I like: ++ brand. Like I said, I'm lucky with this brand - well made, durable, overall well thought out design and features. ++Usefulness. Every homeowner needs a good cordless drill. The multi-tool is optional but comes in handy when you need it. This cordless drill from SKIL is a further development of the cheap cordless drill. Good 12 volt performance, good battery life, overall ease of use and good weight balance. As for the multitool and what "multi" means. I haven't seen much information on this Revain offering so I'm adding an additional description. on the SKIL website "The only oscillating tool you need is a jointer, sander or drywall cutter; The SKIL PWRCore 12β„’ 12V brushless multi-tool is ready to help you tackle almost any project. Not only does this adaptable, multipurpose tool save you money and space over disposable tools, it also features 6-speed auto-sensing for an instant speed match to your project!” Always have a charged spare on hand. The good news is that Revain is currently selling an additional 12V SKIL battery for $30, which is a pretty good price considering some companies thrive on things like this. All in all, at its current price of $130, this kit is more expensive than a cheap base kit, but up a notch in terms of quality, performance, and reliable utility. My rating is 4 STARS for value for money.
