I've always used K&N filters in my cars, no matter the power. These things work great and it's nice to know I don't have to keep changing the air filter. It fits into the filter housing like an OEM. What else can you wish for? I wouldn't buy this for the power increase or extra fuel economy. If you look at their performance chart, there really is no power gain to high rpm in the range that is typical of each engine. If the factory filter didn't completely bleed the engine, you won't see big fuel savings either. Buy it so you can be sure you're getting the best filtration from a filter that will last longer than a car.
