I don't usually take the time to write reviews but this product deserves it. When I bought my 2020 Marin Hawk Hill, I noticed that sometimes my chain would skip heavy loads. Had him check and adjust my deore but he did it anyway. Suddenly, during a sharp drive, the chain came off the sprocket. When I was looking for a bash bar, I came across a Fourier bashguard with a chain guide. It changed my bike. With the lower sprocket applying slight tension to the chain, there is no chain jumping and the chain no longer slips off the gear train when the guides are in place. It quashed any negative feelings I had towards my Marin and pretty much made the bike bulletproof. 5 STARS!
