Review on KAC Tailgate Mid Size Mountain Rearview by Charles Lardieri

I have a 4 bike rack for my hitch but it is sometimes too bulky and sometimes wobbles a bit more than I like. The reason I chose this product was the ease of installation. You assemble it by pulling the webbing down the collar, not UP like most. This can easily be done by one person. C-shaped clips ingeniously facilitate attachment. I have 2 trail bikes with a down tube that work great with this pad. I can also close the trunk lid with the seal installed, which is a big plus for me. So now for the bad. I wish they had used felt on the parts that touch the frame. It's not a big deal on my bikes, but expensive carbon can leave marks over time. I wish it had 4 straps instead of 3 because the strap is blocking my chamber and the valve isn't big enough for my ranger. The width is a bit too big because it gets in the way of my clasps when I try to open and close them with the gasket installed. Oh, what's with that stupid name?
