I haven't done this on some new clippers (except Wahl clippers) and my wife didn't know. I have long hair and it is thick. The cut is super smooth. But when she flipped the clippers upside down to work my neck, it hurt like oh my god. That first touch cut her throat, then forced her to draw the blades back in one grip. I have to adjust the blades again with screws so this doesn't happen again! Happened 2 more times in my life and on professional sites and now I know why haha. Update: September 2021 Still sleek oily haircuts. My wife has been cutting hair for me and my son since the pandemic began. Started with Wahl corded clippers and upgraded to another brand of rechargeable clippers which I put these blades on (which also match the Wahl guard we had). From the experience of cutting our hair, cutting is better than going to the store now! And a cordless clipper is a game changer when you can afford multiple cordless clippers that accept those blades.
