Review on 101 Crochet Stitch Patterns & Edgings: Versatile Designs for Doilies to Afghans (Annie's Attic: Crochet) by Gelin Battle

I taught myself to crochet and am trying to learn new stitches. This book really helped. It also has a "Beginner's Guide" (I'd like to call it that) which helped me better understand some of the meanings and paths. (e.g. front and back posts and how to add a different color) What I really like about this book is that there is no gauge or specific hook and yarn weight. So if you want to experiment, you can. However, some seams are a bit confusing. I'm not sure if it's because I'm a "newbie" or they're really confusing. I checked out the other reviews and everyone else seemed to like this book a lot. So it could only be me. :)
