Review on Tact Brand Natural Self Adhesive Shelf by Tim Clark

Completely disappointed.

The material wasn't easy to work with because cork is much stiffer than "normal" contact paper, but with a little help it was quite easy to work with. If you're working alone, take the advice of a user who has smoothed it out for a long time. Glue was enough. I used a ruler and an exacto knife on a cutting mat and for the most part all went well although there were some rips and tears. So far I haven't had any problems with moisture in the boxes it was applied in, so I can't comment on that aspect. What left me utterly disappointed is that after all the effort that went into completing this project and the assurances in the ad that it won't slide around in my kitchen drawers, everything is rolling around like an ice floe. However, it looks beautiful. This should be fine for applications that don't require "holding on". However, if you need something to hold items in place, this isn't the product for you.

Pros
  • understandable even for the old ones
Cons
  • some little things
