Review on Capresso Mini Drip Coffee Maker - 5-Cup, Black & Stainless Steel by Emily Smith

I was looking for a coffee maker to replace the Keurig machine in my kitchen. I found this and decided to order. Being the only coffee drinker in the house, I didn't need a bulky 10-12 cup mug, much less 300 variations to make a simple cup of joe. Either way, it's almost perfect. The occupied surface is small, you can, I would say, make about 3 very large cups of coffee or 4 small ones. Decanter marks for number of cups if you have fine cups. The glass carafe is not as durable as standard ones, but it is suitable for the job. The lines and design are clean and not overdone for what it does (only brews coffee). The water heats up in about 2 minutes and is so hot that you have to wait about 2 minutes before you can enjoy it. (Not too hot, but not scorching either.) There's a simple pre-brew timer feature so you can wake up and go. It's as easy as setting an alarm on a standard radio. Another thing I liked was that the filter basket didn't require paper filters and did a great job of keeping soil out of the pot. Finally it was easy to clean the area and empty etc without having to read the manual just to take it apart. If you are looking for an overall GOOD value, small size, easy cleaning, good tasting coffee with decent water temperature then look no further than this Capresso!
