Works well. I bought it with the understanding that as with most tools, I would have to learn to use it to its fullest. It's nice to have a versatile meter that can help me work safely around the house and in my car. I was able to determine the power side of my car's fuses, in addition to checking the switchable and fixed fuses. It will also help me when I'm working on the basic wiring of smart switches and other devices around the house.
