I'm still not entirely sure about this tool. The problem everyone needs to know before buying is that you need a few things before this can work as intended. First, a pineapple must not be too big. If this is the case, you've wasted fruit and we all know how expensive fresh fruit can be when you eat a lot like me. Next, the core in the center of the tool should line up PERFECTLY with the core in the pineapple. If not, you'll end up with pineapple rings with a thick core on one side and a small pineapple on the other. Once the pineapple is cut into these rings, it is incredibly difficult to cut the pineapple from the core on the rings because it will just snap. You cannot use this tool on larger pineapples as a lot of the fruit will be wasted. The pineapple may only be slightly larger than the tool, which is actually not that big. With the right fruit size and practice, I think this can save time, especially if you're cutting a lot of pineapples at once. Otherwise I honestly think I can do better with a sharp knife. This is of course much dirtier than with a tool.
