Very dissatisfied. I bought this to test the temperature in my oven not exceeding the 2300 degree Fahrenheit rating. At 850 F. The plastic on the end of the probe started to melt and I couldn't use it anymore. When I take it out of the oven to a non-melting distance, it says its internal temp is 500, which is impossible when it's constantly rising, and before that it was 850. Unless they change the plastic on the end of the probe. with metal or lengthen the probe, it is unusable for high temperature. I'm very happy because my stove hasn't been lit in 30 returns so I guess I'm out of luck with a useless item for myself.
