As others have said the bar bolts with the toys hanging from them are too short to fit a wing nut. Mine isn't even done yet. Luckily my husband is on hand and will make it available to me so I can still use it. This is a good size for budgies, cockatiels and maybe kennels, but not for larger birds. The swing bar, ladder, and toys all attach with tiny grommets, but mine didn't sit flush and I had to adjust them so they didn't have any sharp edges sticking out. I like that it attaches to the top of the cage which saves some space. Seems strong in the cage, the wood feels a bit rough. Most likely you will have to go over it with sandpaper. To be honest, I expected a little better quality for the price.
