I bought his tape a few weeks ago. I was a little skeptical about how well it would hold up based on the reviews. I tried it as the material it is made of was perfect for my application. I applied it to a varnished wood sliding door. The surface has been thoroughly cleaned and washed. Let dry. One thing I did, I never heard anyone say they clicked it. I increased the length and pressed firmly with my fingers and they came back with something hard and round, like a felt tip pen or a rounded screwdriver handle. So far, so good.
