I searched for over an hour to finally settle on a chopper. I read tons of reviews and it got really big. Let me tell you, if I could raise a ZERO, I would! Initially, you almost have to stand on it to pierce the object with the blade. I cut off a 1/4 inch potato slice. I didn't have enough strength and had to force my husband to push it through, it made a cracking sound like it was about to break. Then I tried to cut the carrots into strips. Only it instantly turned the plastic orange, but the carrot only pierced part of the blade, so I tried slicing up a carrot juice. Junk is so disappointed that I now have to send it back. GRRRR
