This door entry sensor replaces an old one that no longer works. I installed these two new parts in the same place as the previous ones and this sensor/alert works exactly as I expected. , so I used an old license plate to make a sloped cover/roof over it. The pitched roof also covers the motion sensor from the sun, so I'm hoping this lasts longer.
