These are not my favorites. None of them, especially plaid ones, have very little stretch (they stretch about two-thirds of other fabrics, which is disappointing as others have way less stretch than any other hair ties I own). The fabric is quite stiff which I expected from linen but I was still hoping for a softer fabric with cotton and didn't get it. The elastics on the inside are also not as stretchy and feel better as the fabric surrounding them is also quite thin. I have hair below my waist and it's too much of it to gather on top of my head and I need to hold it tighter to hold it (albeit with some effort to avoid breakage and too much tension to prevent) - because you can. If I don't wrap them that tight and there isn't a lot of stretch, my bun often falls off and I have to redo it all the time. I could probably get a few of them to wrap them back around, but that would end up being too tight and probably giving me a headache. Nice that you get so much for the price. I recommend these.
