Review on CPSC Certified Skateboard Bike Helmet: Lightweight & Adjustable for Bicycle Cycling Skate Scooter – Available in 3 Sizes by Jared Winebrenner

I bought this helmet for my 6 year old and he said it was comfortable so I gave an extra star for comfort but the adjustment strap is so flimsy! After only 2 weeks of careful use, the plastic piece holding the adjustment strap to the helmet cracked and broke off, rendering the adjustment mechanism completely useless! The adjustment strap is very thin plastic and although we were very careful not to overtighten it, it broke very easily. He fell once and the helmet was scratched on top, but a fall and scratch on the top shouldn't cause the adjustment strap to break! Shouldn't these helmets be more durable if we trust them to protect our kids?!? I will be returning this helmet and I hope it was just a lemon because my son said he wants the same one because it's comfortable.
