It's only been a few weeks so the winter season will show. But my wife thought that I bought the hallway rug because it is so beautiful and like a long fiber rug that she couldn't believe the product information I showed her after such a reaction. So. We have a patio with a hot tub, a basement and a foyer that leads to a shower. I remove my sandals and shorts, dry my feet on the plush carpet, and walk down the foyer leaving no moisture, mud, leaves, etc. in my wake. It'll take a season to fully appreciate (and maybe another rug upstairs?) but so far so good - better than my high expectations.
