Review on πŸ“· Nikon 200-500mm f/5.6E ED Vibration Reduction Zoom Lens with AF-S & Auto Focus for Nikon DSLR Cameras by Abhey Singh ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

I ordered a new one from ebay for 69,000, otherwise the stores go berserk with prices. The lens is excellent, sharp from aperture 5.6. Separately, I want to highlight the stabilizer, it's just something. From hands 1/15 to 500mm. While the record, but have not yet experimented, maybe more will stand. There are two stabilization modes: normal and sport. Focuses quickly and accurately. Sports have not yet tried to shoot. Quite heavy and dimensional, you can’t go into an ordinary photo backpack, and only a rag case is included in the kit, they could give a bag like some other lenses. The course of the ring is smooth, but it will take time to twist from 200 to 500. Traveling trunk, potential dust collector. There is a blockage of 200mm. You block and don't leave. It does not roll out spontaneously under its own weight, which is a plus. I chose between 80-400, sigma 120-300 and the old 500mm 5.6. The choice fell on 200-500 because of the focal and stub. In general, the glass is chic, great for reporting and nature. While the question about teleconverters remains open.

Pros
  • Convenient focal for reporting Constant aperture Sharpness at all focal lengths Stabilizer Zoom lock Two stabilization modes
Cons
  • Set Ring travel Weight (but this is debatable) No rope holes
