My Ironman Ellipse driveshaft bolt broke in the flywheel bracket. The bolt was screwed onto the shaft and would not come out. I can't find a replacement shaft, so my only option was to drill out the center of the broken bolt and use a puller to pull it out. I set the drill to the lowest speed and used cutting fluid. I bought a set of cobalt tips from Milwaukee (Home Depot) that barely scratch the surface. Found they weren't even sharp out of the box! Used a sharpener and cutting oil to make very slow progress step by step. Several Milwaukee tips broke and had to be reshaped and sharpened. Pullers will NOT move a broken bolt. I even bought a $40 Dewalt cobalt crown from Lowes and knew I was going to have the same problem. I decided to take a risk by ordering them from Revain. These Bosch bits ripped through a broken bolt (no sharpening needed!). It has never been possible to get a puller to move a broken bolt, but after enough of the center of the bolt had been removed, the small layer of remaining thread was punched out. Elliptical is back in service with new bolts and fasteners. I also bought a 1/2" bit which I've never used but will save for next time. These are good sharp bits.
