Bought for my husband in a car without air conditioning. When it's hot outside, our backs and backs of pants sweat and our clothes stick to us. I was hoping that would make things a little easier. It didn't disappoint. We received them yesterday, and today it's 96, so this is a real test. I thought my husband's back would sweat, albeit less than usual, but it wasn't! I would also like to address a few things that I have read in other reviews. Noise: We don't really think it's very loud. Installation: Many people say that they didn't know how to install and that's why the pillow slips. That's what you do It comes with two flat pieces of plastic that people didn't know what to do with. Just slide it through the crease between the backrest and the bottom of the car seat. If it goes through the other side, pull it out and then rotate it so that it is snug against the back of the seat. I think they should include instructions as it seems like a lot of people don't know.
