45 watt side switches are great. Exactly what I wanted for my Jeep JK lights. Most of the ones you see are "super smooth" patterns, while these are definitely floods. I'm not a desert rider and don't see the point of headlights on a trail rig. These lights have such a wide field of view that they even illuminate the rear wheels. Longevity and water resistance remains to be seen but for the price I will continue to buy these over high end brands. If you're buying a set, check the tightness of the small hex head screws holding the face piece, mine were pretty loose on both sets.
