I have used a bleed mount for many years. I liked it, but it blocked airflow and eventually broke the vent it was attached to. I don't want to break another one and I have a carpeted screen protector and I would never put glue on the dash. My 2011 Sonata has the windshield off the dash a bit, but it worked great. The main intake port is located at the bottom and in the middle so that the view is not obstructed. The phone is higher next to the steering wheel so I don't have to take my eyes off the road and the vent is clean! I love it. It seems quite complicated, but time will tell. The arm is difficult to bend or twist, making it appear strong.
