All to be expected. For the price I would expect them to come with better test scores but they are adequate enough. I was also disappointed that this model doesn't have a backlight, but it was my fault for not reading enough before purchasing. If you are a beginner or just need the basics, this is too much for you. Fluke sells one for about half the price, which is also easier to use. If you're mainly doing basic testing etc then it's probably a waste of your money. I don't want to sound like this gauge is VERY complicated because it isn't, but the cheaper Fluke is simpler and does the job very well. See for example Fluke Model 117.
