Oooooh, I'm neither illiterate nor an idiot, but when I actually received this product (which came in a box of 3 items ordered from Amazon), I was delighted to see it in the box to see. until I realized the instrument was literally just sitting in a molded plastic wrapper, ahhhhh, and there was absolutely no "wrapping" attached or even peeled off in the box. So there was an unprotected sharp tool strewn about in my little bag (thankfully nothing was damaged) with absolutely zero instructions on how to use the damn thing. Did I figure out how to use it? Yes. But all the important information that may or may not have been printed on the packaging, including an instruction manual, was definitely missing. It's sad to see that people think this is the normal way to ship previously opened items. Not to mention that it was clearly a return and would no longer be considered 'new' as there were obvious scratches on the metal. I would send it back but unfortunately it was a necessary part.
