I did not use this product on my intended vehicle but used it on my '96 Cherokee XJ. You look great. I didn't use the included hardware and just drilled screw holes to attach the air vents. The attached template is, dare I say, fallacious. I glued it to the hood, traced the cut lines with a knife, drilled holes, removed the template, applied masking tape, and finally cut holes in the hood to allow the vents to work. It doesn't sit perfectly flush, but I think 3m of car tape will fix that. Update: It's been a few months and they're still great. I used 3M auto tape and it wasn't worth it. I ended up taking some RTV sealant and caulking the gaps where the vent didn't sit flush. This seems like the best way to make this product perfectly smooth. I've found that my air conditioner benefits from better heat dissipation and I'm sure my individual air intake benefits as well, but I have no way of proving that.
