I couldn't find my 2010 LG remote control - my TV suddenly stopped recognizing the HMDI connection. All I could get on the TV screen was snow with that awfully loud noise! I checked Youtube to see how to fix it, but all videos required LG remote. I read all the reviews about it, posted it and got the question answered. I was skeptical but had no choice. Got it, used it to turn on my TV. I pressed the cable logo at the top opposite the power button. Input options appeared - I chose HMDI and tada! No snow ! I plugged in my ROKU and immediately the ROKU menu appeared on my TV screen! I'm so happy, happy, happy!
