Should have come with Harbor Freight

I bought this because I thought it would be a better quality product than the much cheaper Harbor Freight. The joke was mine. The sensors are cheap looking plastic. The first time I used it, the red plastic handle broke. How does the handle break when you twist your hand? Bad design is the only guess I have. Ironically, this is one of the main reasons I chose it over the HF as it was a common complaint about this model. The second time I used it, the low-pressure terminal at the port leaked and leaked $30 worth of freon. Previously I had to send back a new battery/dryer because the connection was leaking. Now I'm wondering if the terminal on this kit is damaged. It's too late to return this tool so I can just forego the $50 for the HF model. I'm afraid to try again or I'll lose another $30 freon. Edit: I'll refrain from detaching the low pressure terminal until I've had a chance to try again. To be fair, it could have been operator error. I hooked it up to an old battery and found that the previous use probably didn't seat it fully into the port, although the knurled knob indicated it did. I'm not sure why, but for some reason the connectors will slide in easily one time and the next time it will take significantly more effort to install them on the connector, but this can be common with all manufacturers. I'm still mourning because the handle is broken. If you bought this model, be very careful when closing it. Maybe just use your thumb and two fingers.
