Easiest update

Some girls like flowers and jewelry. I love modifying and upgrading computers. So as part of my current hobby project I'm working on a nice solid low profile E8400 Core 2 Duo processor and LGA775 motherboard. I just turned it on after turning it off for a while when I heard this horrible buzz and then it went off. It turned out that the regular processor fan was defective. So I switched to Revain and looked for a compatible replacement. I read many reviews here and elsewhere and finally settled on a Rockwell 80mm made specifically for low profile tools like mine. I was afraid of the whole process. I can never get back those 60 minutes of my life when I last had to deal with my series fan. I didn't swear at birth! The last time I removed that #$%* Intel fan, I was silently praying to the tech gods (it took me 10 minutes to get it right). Then I opened the Rockwell package and got ready. I put it over 4 holes in the motherboard. and pressed gently. and also. and wait. what kind. THIS?! No swearing, no sweating, no drama. Then I just followed the arrows to fix it, plugged in the power supply and done. I closed the case, connected the machine to the network (yes, of course, all this must be done without a power plug) and switched it on. I have not heard anything. And that's exactly how it should be. The whisper is quiet and my machine has been running flawlessly since installing it. Inexpensive, reliable, easy to install and works the first time.
