So far these shocks have served me reasonably well but on installation the mechanic showed me that the lower metal on the flat part over the threads is used to reduce slap from turning to prevent the installation is broken off and bent on the driver's side! It didn't stop the install, but if I ever have to remove it for any reason, they probably won't be able to install it a second time. This flat tab is very important as the shocks cannot be bolted in without grabbing this flat tab. It should be reinforced, but there isn't, and it feels pretty flimsy and cheap. The rest of the shock is excellent and much thicker than stock shocks!
