Review on Germ Guardian Eliminates Deodorizes AC4200W by Chris Ferguson

I have had this air purifier for almost a year, I bought it at the height of the 2020 California wildfires. But I wanted to write this review about last night! Late at night I turned on the heater in our bathroom and in a moment I realized it was on fire! I quickly turned it off and took it out of the house, but the smell was awful and persistent. I tried to air the house thoroughly, but the smell made its way into our bedrooms. I turned on the air purifier and yes, it worked! I was so relieved that we could sleep without inhaling the potentially toxic fumes. The sound it makes is comparable to that of a white noise machine and it's easy to sleep with. When I woke up in the morning, the bedroom window was still open and I smelled perfume from my roommate's laundry. I hoped for the best and yes the Germ Guardian was still running and soon the room was smelling fresh again. Our bedroom is about 12ft by 16ft and appears to work well. I'm glad I chose this item!
