Friends, I just got back from a very well-known headphone store in Hong Kong today, where I made a purchase of a direct replacement cable measuring 1.2 meters. In point of fact, they are the only store in Hong Kong that carries the original cable. An attempt to purchase a cable from the official partner of Audio-Techniques, "Sava-service," resulted in a promise from a telephone conversation with a pleasant girl regarding the supply of a cable on order from one month to six months; however, I must remind you that 2022 is right around the corner. Another well-known DJing store has promised to bring prepayment from Hong Kong within a month; however, given how far away Hong Kong is, it's possible that this won't happen. I listened to a cable that wasn't the original on Gorbushka, and they mentioned that Sennheiser didn't like it, but I'm not really sure whether that's true. I believe that the circumstance is the same with regards to cables from Ali. If changing the cable is absolutely required, my recommendation is to stick with the one that came with the device. Folks, in my opinion, there is currently NO other product on the market that can compare to these headphones. Yet the Audio-technica ATH-M50x is only a moderately successful long-playing HIT in my opinion.
